If you use your home address as your business address, this might be a bit of a concern.
Here are some tips:
You can use a virtual office address and update your address to that.
You can also use a UPS Store address.
You can NOT use a PO box from USPS.
Before you update your address in seller central, open a case with Amazon to let them know you are changing your address to your office address, which is in a co-working space. Ask them to confirm that it is okay to change your address. This way, if for any strange reason you have an account issue after the change, you have your advanced notice/approval from Amazon on record.
For individual accounts, Amazon will display the individual's name and address. This change will occur across all Amazon stores in the United States, Europe, Japan, and Mexico marketplaces.
Over the past years, Amazon developed features such as the Seller Profile page, brand pages, and store pages, to share more information about sellers' businesses with its customers.
The purpose of the features is so customers can learn more about the businesses they are purchasing from and make informed shopping decisions.
On these pages, you can add any information about your business and products that you think will be beneficial to customers.
However, do not include your email address on these pages in order to prevent spam.
You can view and update your contact information by following the steps below:
Log in to your Amazon seller account.
In the Settings menu at the top right corner of Seller Central, click Account Info to view the Seller Account Information page.
In the Business Information section, click the links for the information that you want to view.
To change your business name, click Display Name, and to change the address, click Business Address. Enter the new information or edit the current information.
Once completed, click Submit to save.
